Paul Walker's character to retire in Fast and Furious 7.

Ever since the morning after Paul Walker died in a fiery car crash, the creative team behind 'Fast and Furious 7' have been looking for a way to work around the star's tragic death. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walker's character Brian will be retired in the latest installment rather than being killed off.
While it would have been wildly inappropriate to have Walker's character dying in a flaming car wreck, killing off Brian would still pack a far bigger punch for fans than retiring the character. Though Brian is settled down with Mia and a child in the sixth film, he was still an integral part of the action and retirement in 'Fast and Furious 7' may not satisfy all the fans of the franchise.
Retirement
Universal are keen to use the footage they have of Paul Walker in character as Brian O'Conner that had already been shot before his death. They have confirmed that this is their intention and the script will be re-written by Chris Morgan in order to give Walker's character a proper send off. Brian does have a good reason to sit out the further adventures of Dom and the rest of the gang as Brian now has a wife and child. That child is also the nephew of Vin Diesel's Dom and his character is clearly not too happy having Brian join in the fun in 'Fast and Furious 6'. A retirement makes sense but this will also mean most likely saying goodbye to Jordana Brewster's Mia who is also one of the original cast members.
Death
It may not be very sensitive but isn't there a at least a small part of many fans that would have liked to see Brian going down in a heroic and really satisfying way? Perhaps it would be completely inappropriate for him to die in a car crash but there could have been other ways. Brian has been there from the start of the franchise and Paul Walker deserves a send off that will make fans weep. Retiring just isn't the same as dying as Brian could be killed off in an incredibly heroic and unforgettable way.
