Maybe when you're the best player in the world (consider that can of
worms opened) you can get away with most things; but when it comes to a
bet, not even Lionel Messi is allowed to back out.
The Barcelona star and four-time Ballon d'Or winner will lead Los Cules in their Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Sociedad on Wednesday night, but on Tuesday night Messi was forced to don his chef whites.
The Argentina captain - who will hope to fire the Albiceleste to World Cup glory this summer - posted a video of his kitchen dealings on Instagram for the world to see, complete with the caption: "Lost a bet... And I had to cook!"
And my word didn't he get us all hungry.
With a mammoth amount of beef on show, the man who on Sunday took his goals tally with Barcelona to 334 goals showed himself to be more than a dab hand in the kitchen.
Which leaves us rather jealous as we think about our Pot Noodle for lunch.
