Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev made quite a stir last week when the Vampire Diaries co-stars — and former couple — took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry. But it wasn’t the award that got Nian the buzz; it was their acceptance speech.
The dynamic duo took the stage and playfully mocked their May 2013 breakup. “It’s a good thing
we have chemistry!” Nina said, while Ian adorably kissed her cheek.
Aww! Could these two be any cuter? Ian and Nina may not be rekindling
their romance in real life — however, they have remained good friends —
but that didn’t stop us from contemplating whether these two should get
back together.
Wetpaint Entertainment posed the question to Viggle LIVE! users during the People’s Choice Awards,
and a whopping 69 percent thought Ian and Nina rekindle their romance
because “they’re perfect together.” Meanwhile, 31 percent thought the
two were better apart.
While we’re not entirely sure these two are destined to get
back together, we are happy Ian and Nina have remained such good friends
after their breakup. Seeing how their TVD characters, Damon and Elena, play a couple on the show, things could have been super awkward for these two!
