There's no telling if Ian Somerhalder and his rumored girlfriend Nina Dobrev actually spent Christmas 2013 together because it looks like the stars are keeping their dating lives private now.
CelebDirtyLaundry previously reported that the two "Vampire Diaries" lovebirds were going to spend Christmas together, but we haven't seen any PDA photos on Instagram, Twitter, or WhoSay. But, that doesn't mean Somerhalder, 35, and Dobrev, 24, didn't take the time to spend some moments in each other's arms.

We have been telling you that the couple has slowly but surely gotten back together in recent months but it's not something they are going to confirm. Instead they are keeping it quiet once again. Ian is still pimping out the charity organizations that he is involved with while Nina is posting photos of herself hanging with BFF's like Julianne Hough and visiting the White House with her mother. Whatever Ian and Nina now share is most certainly going to remain private but from what we're hearing, they will be making time for each other this Christmas holiday season.
Damon and Elena fans sure hope this news was true, but we will never really know. We can just hope and speculate for now.
In the meantime, Somerhalder took to Instagram to tell his millions of fans "Merry Christmas."
