Filming for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 is temporarily put to a stop as the cast member head off for a well-deserved holiday vacation. Actor Ian Somerhalder, who portrays bad boy vampire Damon Salvatore, revealed to his millions of Twitter followers where his destination is
"Packing for China! See you tomorrow you ancient land breaking the barriers of the 21st century! Can't wait to go back!!! Love, Ian ;)" the 35-year-old actor posted on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder on Christmas Day, December 25. Ian further expressed his excitement over his break from a hectic work schedule.
The actor posted: "Inky black Early morning over my beloved Lake Ponchartrain-a quiet drive starting my commute to the Far East-China here I come;)" According to the Examiner report, Mr Somerhalder tweeted the following day that he was on the way to the Far East with an Instagram photo attached.
